About
Angoera comes from the native Brazilian language Tupi-Guarani and it means "ghost".
It's made by the DJ and producer Renato Valente (Superkunk), the DJ Franzé (Burntroll) and the musicians Emanuel fernandes (Caos), at the flutes and sax and Di Lennon Ribeiro (harmonicas).
The project started at March of 2010. It used to be Renato's solo project when he was living in the USA, but when he got back in Brazil he met Caos and Di Lennon and invited them to improve the project.
Each tracks tells you a history.
Fat basslines, dark textures and a strong ambience always present are some of Angoera's features.
