Sneaking into countless warehouse parties and raves, Angelo Lomelo has been submerged in the electronic music scene since the age of 15, as nothing could keep him away from the hard-hitting, gut-tingling bass.
Sucked in by the noise, it wasn’t long until he sought out to make his own heart pounding records. With his meticulous production, explosive drops and defected vocal cuts each song tells its own individual story sprouted from Lomelo’s dark imagination.
A Master of blending genres, you never know just what to expect with Angelo-- a foundation deeply rooted in techno mixed with minimal and touches of tech/deep house; his mixing flows from a lustful dance chase into a bass pounding rapture, incorporating live remixing and precision effects. It is well known that he turns even the most skeptical into dance floor believers.
In 2010 without hesitation a buzz began around Lomelo’s debut album, Triangular Sheep. Picking up early support from Ramon Tapia, Italian duo Autistic and boutique techno mega label leaders, Piatto, as the buzz grew so did the distance covered by Angelo’s supporters with endorsements from his contemporaries in Europe, and Latin America with Colombian minimal guru Alex Young and Brazil's techno superstar Anderson Noise.
With a slew of original tracks and remixes released throughout 2010 and 2011 and a new EP/Album on the way for 2012, expect big things to come out of this young artist as he is preparing his assault on the industry.
