An Exit to Breathe, started out as a 3-piece punk band back in 2001. Ten years later and their style has changed, quite a bit.

Always being fronted by Pidge, with a strong following by Wolf (the man behind D5), the line-up has changed various times until at one point, it was just Pidge writing and recording music by himself.

During the one-man-band stage is where the electronic sounds came into AXB's music. Heavily inspired by bands such as Dope Stars Inc, AFI, Deathstars, Rammstein, Rob Zombie, NIN and many more, the music of AXB sounded like nothing it had been before.

Two albums were mixed and produced by Pidge. The first titled 'The Fall' with the follow up 'Area33' a year later. These two albums, completely (almost) electronic introduced people to a different side to AXB.

After starting work at Neon Sound Studios, Pidge decided it was time to start the band up again with a whole new line-up. A few session players and again, a variation of changes to the line-up, one man remained with the band throughout. Still with them today, Ash has become a solid cog in the AXB wheel.

Using 'Join My Band' to acquire new members, Lidge was contacted about what we were trying to do. He, like Ash has now become a vital stature in the AXB line-up bringing the electronical sounds that Pidge couldn't even dream of creating.

After losing AXB's 1st and only female member, Amy, Tom (from a band called 'Sabotage') stepped in and has become the 4th solid member of the AXB crew leaving the band left looking for a drummer that'll love what they're trying to do as much as each and every other member of the band.

The rest, is history...
