Andrew Villegas (AndyVica) was born in Los Angeles, CA, but raised in Manizales, Colombia. Since 2000, Andrew has resided in NYC.
Music has always been Andrew's first love. However, his real evolution as a recognized DJ started back in the early 90's with his college days in Colombia. It was then that he began organizing parties at various venues in the capital, some of which he hosted at the famous 'Galpon' theater. In, 2000 he graduated from college with a degree in Visual Design. It was only 3 weeks later that he was on a plane to New York - anxious, but ready to bring his mixing skills to this magnificent city.
He was soon involved in the NYC house scene, and has not looked back, not only playing his music at various bars and private events, but also clubbing himself, and checking out the biggest DJs that NYC hosts regularly.
Constant growth and a deep desire to master his skills led Andy in 2003 to take up classes at Scratch DJ Academy (NYC). In 2005 he completed the Electronic Music Production course at SAE Institute (NYC).
AndyVica is known for throwing awesome, unforgettable house parties. In 2008 AndyVica partnered with DJHD, creating opened a promotion company called Santagueda Underground. It has since sponsored events both in NYC and Atlanta.
Some of the DJs Andy has shared a booth with include DJHD (Tall House Underground), DJ Anthony (Italy), DJ Ivan Diaz (Offering Recordings), DJ Pana Jay (NYC), Dechno (Colombia), Leo Garcia (Venezuela), Giovani (Trilogy), Sian (Octopus Records - Bedrock - Poker Flat), Subfractal (Steaze - Harthouse), Nunzi & Rohin (Sama), Pito (BiatchCorp) Taster Peter (Trapez - Tronic - Hell Yeah - Circle Music), Andres Feles (Kumek Recordings). Venues have included Joe's Pub (NYC), Crudo bar (NYC), Vapor Lounge (NYC) Iona Bar (Brooklyn, NY), The National Underground (NYC), Trilogy (Brooklyn, NY).

AndyVica's style can best be described as a journey through Deep House, Tech House and Techno.
