About

Hi, thanks for checking out my page, I hope you enjoy listening to my productions and mixes, if you like what you hear please feel free to leave some feedback, it's always nice to speak to like minded music lovers :)
I love all music that's deep and groovy ;)
Producers and dj's I take inspiration from include the likes of Jozif, Guy Gerber, Nick Curly and Butch.
To me these are amongst the best in the world, pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved with Electronic Music.
In my productions you may hear some of the above influences, though I am always striving to achieve my own original ideas.
My Biog:
Andy Lemac's love affair with electronic music began at an early age, from playing the keyboard aged 6 he went on to play the Piano and discovered the sounds of a Yamaha synthesizer.
At 17 he discovered his greatest passion was behind the decks, fusing tracks together, building his sets with long mixes.
Around that time Andy was listening to progressive house and trance on labels such as Global Underground by producers Sasha and John Digweed, and was a fan of live acts Leftfield and Underworld.
With deeper house and techno influences from Danny Rampling, Josh Wink and tuning in to Pete Tong's Essential Selection, Andy began to mould his own style and sound.
Today Andy is growing both as a dj and producer having appeared at many clubs and events throughout his career so far, including Ministry of Sound - London, ‘We Love Ibiza’ at Fez Club - Cambridge and Kanya in Ibiza.
Andy’s solo and collaborated productions have also been developing- some melodic, others more minimal and percussion based but always keeping his music original and deep sounding using the latest production methods and techniques.
He is founder and co-owner of Tek Disko, which was started up with good friend Stride. This was the brainchild of the pair who were at the time slightly frustrated with the lack of deep house and techno nights locally. With a successful launch party in Ibiza in 2009, they now continue with the help of special guests and residents Twisted Pear to put on nights in Cambridge.
They are both now currently in the process of developing their brand Evo Music into a digital record label, with a 3 track e.p to be released early this year and plans for many more deep, underground releases.Having also been signed last year to Remote Records and most recently Stab Recordings, the future is looking good!
