Andy Immerman, is an artist from Eau Claire, Wisconsin. He currently resides in Denver, Colorado and is a photographer/videographer. He studied audio production technique with Bon Iver (Justin Vernon) while living in Wisconsin and was the Assistant Engineer for Bon Iver's "Bon Iver" which won two Grammys for best alternative album in 2012 as well as best new artist and Independent Album of the Year by the American Association of Independent Music. Andy has been composing and recording original music since he was 12 years old, using anything at his disposal to create sound. Now 11 years later he has refined his style by using technology to create his music. He uses Ableton Live, and Logic Pro production software, Electric and Acoustic guitars, foley style recorded sound, various midi controllers, and digital multitrack recorders to create and produce his music. He has also played alongside Eric Rykal (The Gentle Guest), Meredine, The Daredevil Christopher Wright, Red Fox Grey Fox, and electronic group Freezepop. Immerman was signed to Fast Waltz Records (now Amble Down Records) out of Eau Claire in 2005 but is currently an independent artist.
