RAK Publishing Limited is an independent music publishing company based in St. John’s Wood in London and is part of the renowned RAK Recording Studios complex.

RAK Recording Studios were created in 1976 by legendary record producer Mickie Most who converted a Victorian schoolhouse and church hall into a state-of-the-art recording studio complex with full residential facilities. Over the years RAK have played host to both musical legends and newcomers alike. Recent clients include, Beady Eye, Michael Kiwanaku, Westlife, Dido, Shakira, Cee-Lo, The Feeling, Mumford & Sons to name but a few.

RAK Publishing was founded in 1969 and now represents over a hundred writers including the Ivor Novello Winner Errol Brown and Gold Badge recipients Steve Harley and Suzi Quatro.

RAK publishes an extensive and varied catalogue which spans almost forty years and includes some classic hits such as “You Sexy Thing” recorded by Hot Chocolate, “Make Me Smile (Come Up And See Me)” recorded by Steve Harley & The Cockney Rebel, “I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll” recorded by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts and “Music” recorded by John Miles.
