Maxim Velpler - more known as Andy Malex 2.0:
born 25 October 1988 in Estonia. Fantasy writer whose music transfers through every word and paragraph of his book. Each track he writes is a separate story and each album is a new chapter of an intergalactic journey.
Since childhood Maxim was interested in music more than his contemporaries. His first tracks were written in school years in Hip-Hop genre. Back then, he was making samples by cutting tapes in some old stereo and then it all was compiled into one track and above this backing track were recorder lyrics. Soon there was not enough possibilities of a two-deck tape recorded and he started his experiments with electronic devices. It was successful and he built his first “garage” studio which he used to get maximally possible quality of sound. This was kind of starting point for Andy Malex 2.0 in a trip to electronic music.
In 2004 he writes his first darkstep track and after that his creative life started to develop really fast. Shared stage with Current Value, DrumSound, Mutated Forms and Kido. Andy Malex 2.0 worked with producers like Mumblz, Necron99 and also with British recording studios and labels Dubzilla Recordings, Lu Music, Beta Recordings and Italian Midi Mood Music Group. One of his ghost production protégés was highly appreciated by Techical Itch and Limewax and also insisted on personal meeting.
At the kind request of Future Prophecies Andy Malex 2.0 made a special break beat remix of a track “Dreadlock” which was a free promo. For a long time this remix was played in club from all over the world. Not much time later John B offered him to make a remix of a track Light Speed which was included in the same name remixes album.
Andy Malex 2.0 is a many-sided person. Music styles in which he writes are so different that makes you just sit and think…how could this possibly was made by only one man?! The reason is his love and obsession to the music and wish to grow as the artist all the time. The result of his passion to promote quality music for the soul and awareness led to making Andy Malex 2.0 image, who had perfect balance between exact engineering of a sound and some special cosmic place around this techniques. His love to fantasy is opened in music he writes from Jazz and IDM to Hard DubStep and Dark D’n’B.
Nowadays Andy Malex 2.0 published few albums and many singles. Maxim is writing a fantasy novel which has reflection in his music. He is also working hard on making two new albums and has some extra-interest in working on soundtracks and sound-design on his label DigitalComa Network.
