About
A brief little bit about me (i'm not keen on lengthy third-person biographies):
I've been DJing for about 8 years (mostly under my old 'LeFord' alias) and started playing for Slide approximately 2 years ago - check out www.slideuk.com for more details.
Ever since I broke out of the bedroom, i've been extremely fortunate to warm up for the likes of Nic Fanciulli, Deepgroove, Jamie Anderson, Stanton Warriors, Adam Freeland, Erol Alkan, Lee Mortimer, Simon Patterson, Style Of Eye, Krafty Kuts and many more, as well as playing at 2008/2010's Slide/Simple boat parties and the superb local Out To Graze festival 3 years running.
I'm also resident at the burgeoning Kai-Zen clubnight in London (keep up to date with regular news, music, and monthly blogs written by my good self: http://www.kai-zen.co.uk), where I spin alongside my good friends Chris Page, Dave Johnys, KiERaN, Naif, and Kai-Zen head honcho Roberto. On top of this, i've recently started running my own Cratedigga 'vinyl only' night in Oxford, with the sole aim of bringing back good honest Dance music, and allowing local DJ's to dust off their musical archives and give classic House and Trance the platform it deserves.
I don't particularly have a long list of influences, but amongst the ones I do, i'd list James Holden and Nick Warren as stand-outs, purely for the way I never get tired of the material they release, and their styles reflect my own desire to do something a little more creative than simply mixing two records together.

Unreal.... just know this mix is gonna be class.
Great shout for including Untight as well! I always preferred that to the 'Some Polyphony' A-side.
Any mix with Abbott in it is just fine with me :)

Sounds like what would happen if Burial had an illicit one-night stand with Mr Projectile without using protection... Very nice sir, very nice.
@Enigma Entertainment: Thanks guys. The original is a work of art :)
@angie walter: She's a beaut, ain't she? Totally useless for playing out during a House set, but way too good to not actually own a copy/showcase in a mix :)
@em williams: Thanks Em! That's the Dave DK tune Leigh liked as well, glad you approve... looking forward to catching up at Joy Orbison!
@Leigh jc: LOVING the vinyl at the moment mate! Definitely rediscovered my passion for buying music
@russtaylor999: Cheers bro! Good to hear from you again chief :)
@Benno.: It's actually the DFRNT remix, i've mislabelled it by accident.... bloody white labels!
Thanks dude! It's actually a white label I picked up in Germany. Probably wouldn't play it out as I don't think it'd fit in any of my sets, but I felt it was just too nice to ignore, so I bought it. Glad you like it mate!

Jumps straight to Quickplayer when I click Download........ ?
Cheers dude :D
Cheers guys, much obliged.
Jon told me you lads did a lot of classical work. Never heard any of your composition material before, but i'm pretty impressed. Great work mate.
Wonderful stuff as usual Angie... euthanasia never sounded so good ;)
You can tell you've been doing this a long time, your tracks sound incredibly polished and well put together.
Great stuff, mind kind of progressive. Sounds very like the sort of thing Warren or Saiz would be well into.
Excellent melody, really like it. Are you going to extend it into a full club edit?
...and thanks guys, I appreciate it. I know i'm a little way off producing release-able material, but it's reassuring to know i'm on the right track :)
Will do hun!
Properly brilliant, thank you very much!
Great work mate, lovely track
One of the reasons, yes. I'm sorry for not making my departure known, didn't wanna sound like an attention seeker. Thank you very much for the feedback, i've been busy putting all those free online tutorials to use, and this project taught me more than all the others combined. Granted it's quite leftfield, but I think that seems to be the way i'm heading musically at the moment. More to come, and hope you're well Ange!
Loving this! Great percussion throughout that gives it some real pace :)
Another fine eclectic selection Mr Wood. Great work :)
Best 79p i've ever spent.
