Andy Canguelo started behind the decks at the age of 17 and in 2001 he started playing at one of the most well known clubs in the Southwest of England "The Brunel Rooms" he played the most up to date commercial dance but gradually turned to the music he truly loves... Funky House, Disco and Latin Sounds!
Andy’s name with getting around in the Swindon club scene and started getting a residency on the well known frisky! Night in the Brunel rooms and was playing along all time greats like Craig Bartlett from l’America and continued until it closed
With his succession playing at the Brunel rooms he moved his residency at soda night club and continued to smash the dance floors to be recognised to play residency on the well known Hed kandi playing with mark Doyle, David Dunne, matt Collins and many more.
Andy was continuing to be asked to play on the well known nights up north and soda for miss money penny’s playing alongside the legend Jim ‘shaft’ Ryan and Jeff Jefferson.
With his great energy and passion for the music, Andy got the opportunity to with swing city records and alongside the one and only grant nelson, Andy Canguelo succession grew and again was chosen to spin with the greats Dj’s bobby and Steve from l’america they said

Word was getting around about Andy Canguelo was asked and got pleasure to play with housexy crew a when they came to town and playing alongside Shane Kehoe, Jake Duval and Patrick Hagenaar. His career hit all time high and continue update his c.v to play with the Bora Bora legend dj gee moore not just once but twice
He pursued and was playing for gatecrasher and defected and whilst these fun frolics was going on in 2005 had to pleasure to play become resident on KANDIFUNK and has continued playing with them in his 8 year career, he started to produce with his partner in crime Danny Kissane to make ‘hidden soul’ . To this day KANDIFUNK is still going strong, and Andy canguelo continues to play across the UK and overseas and he continue to be in demand.
