Andrey Plekhanov aka HoT is a DJ and Producer living in Tula, Russia.
HoT started to make his first tracks in 1997, and by 2000 the majority of his
compositions were ragga-jungle tunes. In 2006 his composition "Gas-jet"
appeared on "Tonz of Drumz vol.4" mixed by DJ K & DJ CRS?.
From the beginning of 2007, well-known Russian drum'n bass Don Dj Gvozd
became interested in his music and presented HoT's tracks on St. Petersburg radio
station "Record" during the Russian hour of Gvozd's show called "Pirate Station".
In November 2007, he appeared on the "Russian DRUM&BASS 02" compilation,
presented by "Pirate Station" / "Record" label. Since then, jungle dj's all over
the world have included HoT's music in their mixes.
At the beginning of 2008 HoT joined the Illegal Jungle Crew and in early 2009,
got the attention of JungleX Boss RCola with his remix of "Policeman and Soldiers"
due to appear on JungleXpeditions #10 12" vinyl alongside Ritual's "Whip Dem".
Today, HoT continues to push his sound to the worldwide ragga-jungle massive.
