Guitar - Andrew has played Guitar for 15 years with many bands/artists such as Bad Taste, Inflatable Love Sheep, White Widow, Bashphelt, Shatinga, Craig's Sister Darren, Red Confusion, Gizesque, GizByrne, Tom & Giz, Quango, No_Peace and many other projects. Within these years, Andrew has become a Grade 8 (Rockschool) Guitarist and studied at the prestigious Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM) in Guildford, where he gained a distinction in Contemporary Guitar and Performance along with playing Guitar for many projects and recording sessions. Andrew now delivers a mobile and professional Guitar tuition service to North West England. While his teaching is consistent with what you need to learn, it is balanced with what you want to learn too. This ensures your learning experience is bespoke to you and your needs in the comfort of your own home.
Andrew uses Gibson Guitars, Fender Guitars, Music Man Guitars, Raimundo Guitars, Yamaha Guitars, Fender amplification and Cornford amplification.
Songwriting - As well as constantly writing songs for the projects he has been involved with in the last 15 years, Andrew also has the experience of Songwriting to a given brief or theme. Below are some of Andrew's achievements with his Songwriting:
1999 - Andrew co-wrote a song called 'The Millennium is Here' with fellow School Students as part of a nationwide competition. The song reached the final and the Students were featured and interviewed on BBC 1 North West Tonight.
2006 - Andrew wrote a song called 'Refrain and Maintain' with Bashphelt. With this song, the band won a national competition called 'Popworld Promotes', which resulted in them being the first unsigned band to appear on T4's Popworld.
2007 - Andrew wrote a song called 'Voyage' with Bashphelt, which got the band to the final and televised stage of T4's Mobileact Unsigned competition.
2009 - Andrew wrote a song for Burnley Football Club. The song was to then become the club's official anthem, receiving nationwide coverage from Sky Sports News, BBC1 Look North News, Match of the Day, ITV Granada News and Radio 5 Live. Andrew concentrates mainly on writing songs for the projects he is involved in (Gizesque, Bashphelt and No_Peace). However, if called upon Andrew can write a song or piece of Music for/about anything.

Production - Andrew has studied and practised Music Production for the past 10 years. Using Pro Tools on a daily basis for the last 5 years has become pretty much the norm for Andrew in producing/recording his and other people's records.
