About

Andrew Whitwell has been producing, remixing, and DJing for the last eight years; including teaching Music Technology at Northbrook College for the past four of those. His musical upbringing of Detroit Techno and House music influenced him to forge a sound that captures the sophistication of industrial rhythms with a blend of progressive melodies, creating a balance of warm and deep sounds, which are innovative as well as club friendly.

Whitwell arrived onto the house scene through remixing ‘Whoop’ by Cheets. The result was that local DJ’s and Producers noticed Whitwell in the Brighton House scene; he got picked up to DJ in the Brighton and London area. Whitwell began collaborating with local legend Brian Cheetham, creating their own take on Tech House with their Debut E.P ‘MoogerFooger’ which was released on Fierce Animals Records in 2010.

Whitwell decided to step away from remixing and move towards creating his own solo projects. He did this in the form of his Debut EP ‘Nocturnal’ a forthcoming release on Fierce Animal Records. Whitwell still continues to work on developing his own unique sound, cross breeding other genres with house to create his own spin on dance music.
