ANDREA TENILLE is a DJ and Vocalist, born with music in her bones, instilled from a young age with soul, traditional island beats and dance. Inspired by Rare Grooves, her musical style is described as a fusion of Neo-Soul meets House of Sophisticated Funk!

Andrea is RM's first female DJ and Host, announcing weekly on Respect Music Radio broadcasted on various stations around Australia including Radio Metro, Switch FM, Kiss FM & Lush FM. Andrea regularly spins rare grooves all around the Gold Coast from residencies to Special Events such as Armor All GC600 (Indy) & Melbourne Cup. You've probably caught her in 6 star style at the Palazzo Versace the finest Gold Coast Hotel, mixin' it up at Skypoint AKA 'Q1 Observatory' the Gold Coast highest altitude lounge bar, keepin' the house groovin at Sofitel's Room 81, bringin' back the Funk & Disco at Alto Cucina in Broadbeach or Chillin' it out at a local Sunday Session.

Andrea Tenille has featured in Kenny Smith Photography series: We Dance We Break We Step, Bryce Wegener Photography series: for Sacred Jewellery and recently interviewed by 3D World Magazine - The Social Club. She made a very fashionable female DJ debut being invited to perform at Fashion Model Academy (FMA) Fashion Shows at Circle on Cavill, Surfers Paradise Australia and kicked off the beats at Cancer Council Girls Night In Launch Party at Jupiters Casino Penthouse hosted by Miss Universe, Jesinta Campbell. Andrea has also made appearences droppin' commercial beats at at Ally Fashion, Hit n Run and City Beach.

Throughout her life Andrea has always surrounded herself with music; from organ classes, choir, guitar, electives in music studies all throughout her school years and started writing her own music at the rebellious age of 16. Andrea is in the early stages of an original music project and is very excited about the vocal and production journey ahead.

Back in 2007 Andrea Tenille was lead vocalist of the Big Blue Band, a ten-piece band jamming covers from jazz, blues and funk to popular modern hits at corporate functions and Charity events in Sydney Australia. Soon after Andrea graduated from a Bachelor of Business Marketing/E-Marketing, the stars aligned bringing her to meet RM Director/Producer/DJ James Canning she relocated to the Gold Coast to become GM of Respect Music which has supported her growth & development as an artist. Andrea aligned with Gold Coast Funk outfit Rubber Johnson performing backing vocals & harmonies which lead her to feature on an AGFA (All Good Funk Alliance) featuring RJ (Rubber Johnson) release with Super HiFi out of the USA. This was released on vinyl in late 2009 which includes remixes by Fort Knox Five & on the flip side a Kraak & Smaak remix. She is currently working closely with RJ on their collaboration EP with AGFA to be released later this year with Super Hi Fi.
