About
I'm a composer and sound artist based in Berlin, Germany. I have worked on several films, among others the TV-series "Berlin, Berlin" which won the International Emmy Award. As a sound artist my compositions are made from sounds such like clocks, ice and fire sounds, water dripping, sand, crickets and others. Also check my blog: http://silentlistening.wordpress.com

@yogev freilichman: It was recorded with underwater microphones. You can read more here:http://bit.ly/8IT927
very nice song, all of them here!
nice long track, Miron, looking forward hearing the second part ;-)
I never really understood what hauntology meant, but if I would define it for myself it would sound like this. Excellent pieces here, Nigel!
@78oe: Stimmt genau, sehr gut erkannt. Der Regisseur hatte das als Layout vorgeschlagen und ich hab es dann weiter verarbeitet. Danke auch für die anderen netten Kommentare! Schöne Grüße
I'm floating... Great work. as always!
nice hazy distortion on the lead melody, produces a great warm atmosphere! Looking forward to hear the end result...
@MARQUEZ ILL: Hi Marcus, good to hear. We should meet in about a week, I have time again. Looking forward! By the way: broadcast is on 19th March 23:05 at WDR3.
@per-van-per: Coming Friday is the premiere of the radio play. But the music will be mostly under German dialog, so this is the only chance to hear part of the music by itself. I'll leave a comment about the broadcasting details here later.
great texture, I like the feel of the grain gongs in combination with the ice crackle.
@per-van-per: Hi Per, great, your words describe exactly the emotion the track should transport in the radio play.
@Mark harris: wow, great story! I have been listening to your tracks the last 2 hours or so: fascinating, very atmospheric dense textures, I like the last two tracks particularly. Carries me away and keeps me focussed at the same time. Great work!
@Mark harris: Hi Mark, the idea with the upright in the garden slowly disintegrating and hearing that via the sounds: amazing! What a beautiful idea. Wish I could hear that. Glad you liked this piece!
@anatsegal: Hi Anat, thanks for leaving a comment! Just listened to your two tracks, they are great! Very touching indeed. I also liked the little sample in "You", it gave the track a special feel... I wish I would be in Tel Aviv now, Berlin is really ugly this time of the year. I stayed in Tel Aviv two years ago and liked it much, the beach and the vivid cultural scene. The best, Andreas

one can hear the spider monkey calling and jumping through the canopee on the right hand, while the howler monkey grunts on the left side of the river
the caiman jumps into the water (hope he wont eat us...)
