About

Slum N Bass aka, Anders Tresselt

Anders Tresselt started out as a dj, booker and promoter in 2000, by collecting enough equipment to build a soundsystem.

Back then he played anything from jazz, punk & afro funk to reggae and hip hop. Soon he began throwing outdoor festivals, streetpartys, illegal raves and different clubing concepts at places such as Bornehuset (RIP), Ungdomshuset (RIP), Christiania, Stengade, and of course the streets and empty buildings of Copenhagen (all classic and important venues in the development of danish bassculture!!).

His music developed into a more bassdriven rave sound, and Anders has since, been one of the most active and respected people on the underground scene of Copenhagen, both as a dj, promoter, labelowner, and activist. Due to the many contexts hes been working in, you´ll have trouble finding a person with a better network within the bassmusic scene in Copenhagen.

- As a dj,

Anders Tresl aka. Slum N Bass´ dj-sets are primarily built to power up dance floors, but they also tend to have an innovative approach and a true original combination of styles, though he´s still a master, when it comes to perfecting a certain sound, if the occasion leads to it. You can allways expect dubs, vip´s, unreleased tracks, classics, bangers and reel tight mixing.

Though he definitely ranks as one of the top djs in Copenhagen, he´s still directing most of his energy into the different projects and soundsystems he´s a part of, such as ”Wobble Squad”, ”Juice” and ”Mo Fire”. Primarily focusing on genres such as Tropical Bass, Uk Funky, Bassline, Garage, Dubstep, Dancehall, Soca, African club music and whereabouts.

- As a producer,

Anders is a part of Copenhagen Global Bass Pioneers: ”Mo Fire Production”, who´s been producing bassheavy music since the mid 00´s. Primarily focusing on genres such as Tropical Bass, Uk Funky, Baile Funk, Dancehall, Soca, African club music and whereabouts.
