        ..comme tu l'écris, il s'agit d'une interprétation, à l'aide du sampling. Le travail consiste ici à former un ensemble cohérent avec des sonorités de Trane de 1964 et des sons éléctroniques. Tout en restituant le plus fidèlement possible la "vibration" de Coltrane. Les critiques que tu lis ont je pense à faire avec cela et finalement à l'émotion de cette musique plus simplement... Quant au côté "puriste", gardons-nous bien de cet obscur voile... L'album "A love supreme" a été à l'époque un record de vente dans le jazz et du coup a projeté Coltrane au-devant de la scène(à juste titre, évidemment).. "ICONE"
        Que dire aujourd'hui d' Eric Dolphy par exemple? Et aurais-je plus le droit ou moins le droit de travailler sur Dolphy plutôt que Coltrane?? Dans les conservatoires ou écoles de jazz on a transcrit les solos de Trane, Davis, Monk.. le jazz est en partie devenu "écrit" .. Cela me choque beaucoup plus que d'entendre des gens sampler et contruire qqch avec du Miles ou Mingus..
        Au contraire, il y a dans cette musique éléctronique qui revisite le passé, une fibre, quelque chose d'indescriptible qui m'étonne et me nourrit, comme quand j'écoutais pour la première fois l'album de John...
