An On Bast is the pseudonym of Anna Suda, a Polish electronic producer
live-acts performer whose music dots the 'i's and
crosses the 't's but gives a little more sonic interest thanks to an
investigative approach to production. Her music ranges
from expertly crafted meditative moments of sublime electronic bliss, to
dance floor friendly oddities. Her unique compositions
comprise colorful sonic paintings where you can glide blissfully through
splatterings of bitcrushed dub stabs and the shuffling of
micro-granule percussive bits.
An's stunning live performances has captivated audiences at Sonar
(Barcelona), Numusic (Stavanger), Kvitnu (Kiev), Rekolectiv (Bucharest),
Strom (Copenhagen) and at great polish festivals like Audioriver (Plock),
Unsound (Torun), Tauron (Katowice), Warsaw Electronic Festival,
Plateaux (Toruń), Candid (Gniezno) and premiere clubs throughout Europe.
In 2006, Anna caught the eye of the Red Bull Music Academy and was picked
from thousands of applicants to participate in the academies Melbourne
edition (2006). She released 4 Albums and 3 EPs [for La Folia Recordings
(US) & Rednetic (UK)]
