Born in America, raised in Scotland, singing saxophonist Amy Lyon has been writing and singing music in various styles from a young age and continues to do so with a passion for jazz, soul and funk pumping through her blood. She also has a growing love for film and television scores, which influences her own music, "I can get so overwhelmed by film scores more than other music, writing and listening to music is my form of counselling, if i wasn't allowed to do this i would probably be in a straight jacket."
