About

London, England. Ben Ayres & Tjinder Singh's own label. Come & join us for an independent take on music, music, music. Home of The Sufis, Cornershop, The Paperhead, Beat Mark, Matsuki Ayumu & The Sudden Death of Stars, Bed Rugs & The Smoking Trees and more.

Both Tjinder & Benedict are avid record collectors, who met when they both studied at Preston Polytechnic. Tjinder became the Union Social Executive whilst Ben went to London to work in a vinyl record pressing plant. As Cornershop took off and developed, so did the amount of Turbans they had to wear, and Ample Play Records is the culmination of all that work and experience, backed by freedom & enjoyment, with 'Music 10 Commandments'. Beyond their own records and The Sufis, they have released Nashville’s The Paperhead in Europe, Antwerp’s Bed Rugs and Portland’s Jack Lesser Lewis Awkward Energy amongst others.
