This is already receiving heavy rotation from Giles Peterson and is set to be one of the years big underground house tunes.

It seems like we've been waiting an eternity for this mysterious 10" label to kick off. Having some kind of links to the Firecracker crew and Cottam, the label will use its anonymity to release off-centre and leftfield joints from some big heads in the deep house world. "People Of Earth" excitedly gets things underway and is a lush, soulful, deep house number done in that exquisitely dreamy, New York style with big chords, flanging pads and delicate female vocals. Beautiful. "Trouble In Space" on the B-side completely flips the script and is a gritty, lo-fi beatdown number heavy on the Theo Parrish and Detroit influences (leaving me to wonder just who is behind this particular record). The analogue synth work in the track is nothing short of spectacular with rhythmic drones colliding with metallic pulses and tearing pads. Elements of Fly-lo, Kyle Hall, Urban Tribe, Darkstar and almost undeniably Theo Parrish drum groove send my speculation levels through the roof. Unveil yourself oh magnificent producer! Limited and big therefore ya better move quick!
