Amir was born on January 20, 1988 in Rock Hill, SC. He moved to Raleigh, NC when he was 5 years old and that's where he was raised. He attended Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School and graduated in 2006. He later enrolled at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro, NC where he majored in Professional Theatre. After his first year he left and went back home to Raleigh to work and get an agent for film. He later resided in Hollywood, CA and after some time moved back to NC to locate himself in Wilmington where he could work but be close to the film industry. Amir has been writing since he was 15, but never had the appeal to be a mainstream performer. He later joined Couture Word an organization at NC A&T that held performances for models, dancers, singers, rappers, and poets. Within the last year he has been just working on the craft of writing as much as possible. Working on finalizing his first mixtape for people to catch an ear, Amir has been working on "Mellow Mood" as well as "Versatility of the Mind", and trying to network with more producers to have his very own beats to make the Official mixtape "Lost in Translation". Amir's message to his audience is plain and simple "Dream, and Dream Big" Faith is a key word that people have forgotten about and with Amir's undying ambition to become a great artist in more than just music as well as film he wants to prove that it's not just for one person but everyone.
