"Love Sick" is a song written by Amé Houston and produced by Freek Van Workum. When Amé Houston First wrote "Love Sick" his intentions were to aim this song towards a horrible heartbreak he was going through at the time. After hours and hours of not being able to come up with any lyrics, Amé decided that the song shouldn't be based on the actual definition of "Love Sick". Instead, it should be a song about how much his ex-girlfriend makes him sick, literally. Metaphorically speaking the idea of "Love Sick" was to give it a new meaning. Instead of talking about how much I missed her and was so broken up over us, Amé decided to talk about how happy I am that she is no longer in my life. “I wanted her to know that instead of crying over her, I am doing cartwheels now that she has moved on. This was a song to show her she lost out on something great, and what she could’ve had had, she now doesn’t. I wanted to give the world a new feeling about being heart broken. “
A special thanks goes out to Steven Earl Founder of EBR studios. Steven mixed and mastered the record all from his dorm room in college. This Guy is an amazing engineer, and I wouldn’t have choosen anybody better to do it with.
