About
Rolling sushi was something he had always wanted to try, instead that job was left to Wasabi while he simply savoured on their sushi, his friends on the other hand, relished an extra hot peri-peri chicken at Nando's, which he also loves. Good home cooked chicken from his mother’s kitchen was and still is one of the great tasting African formulas used to make this young man along with a younger set of twin brothers, which all have grown into three handsome young men. One throws balls in hoops, the other flings digital paint brushes across a laptop screen all day but, we’re not talking about them, are we? We’re talking about the one who nods his head back and forth, glued in between a set of German headphones, Amede Soundsmith.
Water has no enemy is what Amede actually means, wait! Does this explain his popularity back in his school days, especially with the prom queen? Or, perhaps that infamous charm inherited from his comedic father? One thing is for sure, his experiences with the opposite sex have certainly had an overtly-frank influence on his songs, as well as building the gentleman he has grown into today.
Speaking of being a gentleman, tucking shirts in, buttoned up collars, firm handshakes and attention to trivial detail, Amede Soundsmith carries this to the next level by making these signature features in his vocal & production style. The closest comparison to his music would probably be tweed - Unfurnished yet closely woven.
