About
Founder and Head of Am-Ghost Productions, Dogukan Gungor, was born in Paris, France. Raised by a Turkish father and a French mother, he was introduced to a variety of musical genres at an early age. Dogukan grew up listening to his father's Rock, Jazz and R&B LP's late at night, which would eventually spark his love for music. At 11 years old, he picked up the saxophone and started performing in local Jazz ensembles around Paris.
Moving to the United States with his family at 14, Dogukan felt this marked a new beginning and started to teach himself how to play the guitar. In addition to mastering the instrument, Jazz and Hip-Hop became apparent influences in his playing.Throughout his High School years, Dogukan improved his musical skills by practicing relentlessly and playing with other musicians. His strong musical background and creativity were evident when he auditioned and was accepted to the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. In order to support himself, Dogukan performed with Jazz, Rock, R&B and Hip-Hop groups in Philly, New York, Trenton and other cities throughout the East Coast. Am-Ghost Productions was created in the two bedroom apartment Dogukan was renting senior year of college.
After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Jazz Performance, Am-Ghost Productions grew significantly. The recording studio is now set up at 17th st and Washington av in the Graduate Hospital neighborhood of the city . Open to artists, producers, writers and engineers; it can supply instrumentals and fully arranged songs for albums, mixtapes, soundtracks, commercials and much more.
With a professional mindset and incomparable work ethic, Dogukan keeps making the most out of every opportunity coming his way, setting no limits for himself or Am-Ghost Productions.
