Alter State (Sanil Sudan) is the co-founder of "TheMassive.in - India's only definitive bass heavy community" and part of the "PURENOiSE" crew in Delhi. From playing a part promoting bass heavy music with his community and club nights, to push House & Techno music with the PURENOiSE crew , to working dancefloors across the city, Alter State brings his own musicality to the underground sound.

Always fresh and innovative, Alter State can be seen working dance floor grooves with his unique take on House/Techno music at once and destroying dancefloors with raw bass heavy Drum and Bass/Dubstep music at the other. Always following a journey like structure in his sets on and off the floor, tracks handpicked to match various styles and mood, Alter State can always be relied on to push the conventional sounds into new and unconventional directions.

Being part of the burgeoning dance music scene in Delhi, Alter State apart from promoting various club nights at various hotspots like 24/7 @lalit, Ai-The Love Hotel, Double Decker Bar, Kuki , Shooters, Zoo Bar, Zook, Mojo has been invited over to play at Festivals like BassCamp , Holi Cow, Sunrise Mist & guest spots at BASSFoundation, Delitronica playing alongside massive headline acts like Klute (U.K/Commercial Suicide) , NuTone (U.K/Hospital Records) and various other local acts notably BBC,Vachan,Phi degrees and more.

Currently, Alter State is honing his studio techniques and has started putting out soulful interpretations of music he loves, ranging from Chill Out versions of Classics to dance floor oriented Tech (House) and Drum & Bass originals,

With much focus on playing and pushing interesting music coupled with favorable reviews on his productions, Alter State is a talent to look out in 2011.
