From Atlanta,GA. On Risen from the Ashes Crew. I've been playing music on turntables since 2000 after hearing the Wave Twisters album by DJ Qbert and a few mixes by AK1200 and Aphrodite. Prior to that I broke my mom's 45 rpm turntable by trying to scratch my sister's copy of a Bangles' single after seeing the video for "Baby Got Back" when I was 8 years old.
I began as a Drum & Bass DJ but collected funk and breaks on the side. After I made my first b-boy mix I was asked to DJ Triptich Smackdown 1 thrown by Sound Savages crew in Atlanta. From there I continued to get gigs as a breaks DJ and I eventually stopped spinning Drum & Bass altogether. Nowadays I split my time between spinning B-boy battles and All Styles Battles.
