I have been messing around with electronic music for many years, back in early 2002 my studio comprised mainly of hardware synths. Korg Triton, SuperNova II, KS6 and Access Virus B, some effects and Cubase. I produced atmospheric and house type tunes, but weren't really up to what I call a professional standard. I continued until my circumstances changed in 2004, and at that point decided to sell up. Everything went, it was a hard decision, but at the time was the right one.

I kept up with the tech, reading various music tech mags. So in early 2009 I decided to get back into what I enjoyed several years previously. But this time I had to look at trying to reduce the amount of space this was going to take up (I only live in a modest two bed terraced house). So I started to look at vst's. I know these had been around for some time and back in the day I was purely a hardware only type of guy. But since then they have come a long way and decided to take the plunge. So now my studio is in the box.

Two years later and as I'm now starting to understand the complexities of the software, I'm starting to enjoy more than ever what I do. Being a member of Soundcloud gives me the opportunity have total strangers listen to my music and get back honest and constructive feedback to help me improve my production skills even further!
