reconnection
I know the progression is a Pixies ripoff, and I know that vocally I aint no American Idol, but, nonetheless, I can safely say that this is one of my best proper songs. I wrote this in 1998, when a friend (Paul) I was living with in Lismore NSW died from cancer. It was also a track where I finally got my new sampler, the Akai S20, to sound like the way I wanted it to.

Really like this bit. Reminds me of Sufjan Stevens and Elliot Smith (the acoustic breakdown). Cool stuff here, liking the Alpen project.
