All You All is a three-piece musical ensemble based in Bend, Oregon. Comprised of John Has-Ellison (guitar, vocals and sequencing), Maggie Surgeon (vocals, percussion and effects), and Anthony Trefry (drums and vocals), the band independently recorded and released their first two EP’s in early 2012 along with a new single on 1/1/13. The first, FLUORESCENCE, was released on January 1st, the follow-up to that, INCANDESCENCE, was released on April 22nd, and their newest release, BAIT & EXCHANGE, is available on New Years Day 2013. The band's robust and engaging sound is a combination of previous projects between Has-Ellison and Trefry, as well as the many influences that the band shares. Their sometimes genre-bending songs bring together classic and current sounds with ease, proven by their catchy and rhythm-based arrangements. In mid-2011, Has-Ellison and Trefry began rehearsing new material and with an urge to bring their songs to the stage, they asked close friend Maggie Surgeon to accompany Has-Ellison with lead vocals. After Surgeon suggested the moniker "All You All," they began recording and preparing their songs for a live audience. With the release of their twin EP’s, FLUORESCENCE and INCANDESCENCE, All You All brought their own unique energy to the stage as they began playing shows throughout the Bend area. With the year coming to a close , All You All began work on their newest single BAIT & EXCHANGE. With plans to release it on the one year anniversary of their first release FLUORESCENCE, they've also chose to made it available for FREE digital download ( http://allyouall.bandcamp.com ) . The year to come will have lots in store for All You All and their fans . Local shows are in their immediate future including one on 2/6/13 at The Tower Theatre w/ The Helio Sequence & Talkdemonic , and regional shows are in their sights. As for new material, it’s of course already on its way. All You All has began writing and rehearsing new songs for their first full-length album, slated to be released in mid-late 2013.
