About
Like many piano teachers, over the years my own piano playing has taken a back seat to teaching and all the administrative work that goes along with running a music studio. This year I’ve decided to change that. I am making a commitment to record and upload one piece each week. By setting these weekly deadlines, I'm hoping to overcome my tendency towards procrastination and perfectionism.
I'm calling it the "Go Play Project 2012." Anyone care to join me?

@Cross-Eyed Pianist: Thanks Fran. I really want to redo that one...but I'm forging onward. Will definitely revisit the whole sonata soon.. I'd love to get it at performance level....
Lovely, Mira!
@cis minor: Thank you! And thank you for asking... just sent it in.......
@cis minor: Yes. Do play it. I used to really dislike it, but now the more I play it the more I discover and the more I like it...
@cis minor: It's difficult to hear a score in your head, but not impossible. I'm trying to study the music away from the piano more... hopefully to improve my memory. Not everything is getting memorized but definitely this sonata.
@AllPiano: and love this improv...
