it all started at age 12,when Allen Yang bought his first rock album "40 Licks by The Rolling Stones". As soon as the CD begins to play,the sound of the guitars,the feel of rock music,the loudness of the drums that blew him away.he would go to anyplace carry his CD player and listen to that album over and over again. Allen was age 12 when he got his first guitar, Allen would be in his room for hours playing his guitar every day.

While he was 16,Allen discovered that he could write a fully composed music. allen would be at his computer till past midnight to record his guitar till his finger hurts. The Recording paid off when Allen's high school music teacher Tony Shreppard heard his songs,Tony was amazed by Allen's passion for music and he got allen in his "music Composing & Tech" class.Tony commented Allen's later work as in "really complex and full of new ideas".

As Allen learned more about music,He wants to do more just to play around with songs,So he joint force with couple of school mates to start a band called The Obvious Inconvenience,but it was soon broken up. Soon the lead singer Max Gregson asked Allen to produce his new Band called My Favorite Plague.As Allen working with the band,he pushed them hard,and their single "Gasp For Air" got 1000 myspace hit in a week.since then Allen has earned his reputation around richmond as a music producer.
