Hypnotic melodies, ancient rhythms, soulful resonance, and a voice that will melt you out of your skin, is the music of Allegra Bandy. As a song writer/composer, producer, performer and recording artist, she incorporates an array of soul, jazz, funk, rock, and world genres into her music, mesmerizing and tantalizing her audiences with a succulent feast for the ears.

Multi-talented Artist: Singer, songwriter, producer, journalist, novelist, filmmaker. Working in many different medias, Allegra Bandy brings a mix of elegance, humor, grace, awe inspiring vocals, and intricate beauty in all she produces. Whether it be music, film, visual art, photography, or her own cooking show, she is accessible to all ages.

Having grown up in San Francisco, CA in it’s diverse setting, Allegra was exposed to many different types of music, art, dance, and celebration, from Gay Pride, Carnival, the Monterey Jazz Festival, the San Francisco Symphony and Ballet, and the Haight Street Fair. She studied music education at San Francisco State University, and moved on to teach music in the San Francisco and Oakland Public Schools after she graduated. Concurrently with her studies and her teaching, she continued to perform live, produce music, record music, and start her own record label, Oddua Records, which Allegra started with Heather Licini. Allegra has performed throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, California, and New York, and China for the last 20 years. Her music is published in the United States, Australia, and the UK, and is enjoyed throughout the world.

In 2012, Allegra broke away from Oddua Records to start her own production company, Oddua Productions, and has positioned herself to be a multimedia producer, creating a variety of content, from audio books, originally composed music, and short films.
