ARTC 234 project 1
this is the most calming sound i have listened to so far, feel like falling into a very restful sleep
I agree with the comments that say it is soothing and relaxing, but I also agree with those that say that it is more easily read than it could be. The guitar sound lends itself almost too well to the idea of sleep.
the most peaceful transition into sleep I have heard. its like falling to sleep with a lullaby then only steady peaceful breathing throughout the night.
I'm glad I managed to finally get this to play. Had a little trouble. I like how it began restful and you created this illusion of deep breathing as sleep finally began to take hold.
I really enjoyed the beginning it has this eerie beauty to it.
I found your piece to be very soothing. I enjoyed having a consistent stream of melodic or ambient sound; it felt as if I was slipping in and slipping out of this peaceful place. Something I need to learn as well, but i do think that the guitar as an intro, although soothing, brings us into an ideal idea of sleep which makes the piece easy to take at face value. It giveth and it taketh away lol. But it would be interesting to hear a more raw interpretation.
The echoey music that's present throughout the piece gave me a sort of fake nostalgic contextualization of the work. The fades and misting that Jenny mentions add to this sense of false remembrance.
Your sound reminded me of mine. The static with the wind is really nice. I think these sounds work really well together. In some ways it accomplished what I wanted but didn't achieve in the same way.
i kinda felt like i was in a scary/magical forest. It sounds like an actual soundscape for a fantasy movie
Your sound is both soothing and scary. It seems to be the perfect blend of the two. You must find falling asleep to be peaceful at most times.
Allen, good job. I like how you sounds where smooth and well blended together. The whole thing was relaxing but creepy.
