when i first heard this track i immediately thought of John;
unfortunately, my asking him whether he'd consider doing a solo for it
caused all of his equipment to implode, and it's taken almost four months
for him to get back up running.
but back he is -- thanks, John McLaughlin!

This couldn't really be more close-to and intimate on the one hand - and than eyes closed go for it on the other... The general 'fuzzy pick up' atmosphere lends this an intensely present feel throughout, so it kind or zooms in it's own space! Cool:-)
