As a tech-house fan, i started my electro carrer in the '90s like most of u. even thought artists like Kraftwerk or Jean Michelle Jare were moving things up in the early 80s my first electronic tape was Music Instructor :). Back then house music was the best terminology to describe what would later become an international way of life. Later on i started to discover, on VIVA obvioulsy :) (German Music Channel),DJs like Paul Oakenfold or Paul Van Dyk, events like Love Parade, White Sensation/Black or Creamfields. in the 2000s Trance become no1 in electronic music thanks to Tiesto and later on Armin van Buuren. With "In search of Sunrise" Tiesto really moved the entire electro music stage to another level. After 2-3 years of trance, progressive house took over and the next few years Sasha&Digweed were the best on the scene from my point of view. Also Hernan Cattaneo was one of the best in progressive. Ok, so i started saying Im a tech-house fan, but so far nothing about this :). After 2004-2005 minimal and tech-house started to become the king and queen of international clubbing. Experienced DJs like Sven Vath, Richie Hawtin or Villalobos started to "collect" under there umbrella, labels like Cocoon or M_nus, young DJs to be formed in there spirit. The best product from this combination is clearly Marco Carola (no.1 in tech) and many more like Paul Ritch, Magda, Lutzenkirchen, Troy Pierce ... Also im a huge fan di.fm/tech-house channel and all of its residents like Jon Moyer, RiotGear, Domas, Chris Jones, Alex Topspin and the rest of the gang.
