Here's the next release from ALiVE Recordings....
Michael McLardy's 'Oslo Nights EP' with remixes from Lazaro Casanova (petFood/Leftroom) and Bubba (Classic/Extended Play/ALiVE).
Nottingham's Michael McLardy turns out a brace of original productions to follow up his remix of Seulo's 'Overcast', from our recent ALiVE&Remixed compilation.
Look no further than the first track, 'Deep Nothing', for a classic vocal sample weaved seductively over a deep house groove. On the remix, Lazaro Casanova draws inspiration from the moustache sporting Motownians of the early 80s, reworking the track with analogue bass and a trusty 808.
Title track, 'Oslo Nights', follows in the same vein, equally deep but oozing with funk. Label favourite, Bubba, turns out the remix which will please fans of bass heavy, tripped out, dubby grooves.
