This track was created for the 1st Collab dare at Freesound:
    by AlienXXX and Snapper4298 .

This track is a collab, I am posting on behalf od both of us. Snapper4298 can be found here:

Snapper lured me to use Buzz, a very special DAW (perhaps a bit old, but it is free and still has plenty to offer).
Buzz is actually a tracker - If you made music on the Amiga then you know what I am talking about. If you don't... that's why we have Google and Wikipedia ,-)
So, I was saying... Buzz is a tracker on steroyds, giving you more power than 20 Amiga's combined... plus access to VST and other goodies (such as its ever expanding collection of own 'machines', essentially instrument and effects plugins).
Be warned: Buzz will require patience to tame, but the rewards and results are worth it.

So... as we got busy in Buzz this track began to develop. Slowly at first but then accellerating at exponential speed. I started off by synthesizing most of the sounds we used. Most in response to specific request for sounds by Snapper, trying to replicate sounds from his sample collection.
I also spent a lot of time creating a massive collection of FM percussion and perc-'ish' sounds - I wanted these due to their often unnusual timbres.
Other sounds I added as we went because they seemed to fit.
We also made use of Buzz's own synth machines, in particular the 808 emulation.

We are quite pleased with the result and the fact that it is a piece that really goes 'off the beaten tracks' - doesn't belong to any style, does its own thing... and we like it that way!

All sounds we used (and some exrta ones that did not get used) in this pack:

We used a stretched seagull sound. The original seagull cry came from this recording:
