Aliengirl is Gisèle Wendl, born - loooong time ago - in Switzerland.
Since 1979 she’s playing instruments (keyb, guitars, vocs and some drumming) and before CDs existed, she was mixing with tapes. She played in several Punk-, Wave- and Psychedelic Rock bands. In the 90ties, with the rise of the computers, Gisèle started into electronic music. But the real mixing and production period started after 1999, after her last band, the “Hallucinogenics” split up in peace.
Rubbercandy, Knights of Acid, Spockter - there were several projects and live performances ever since – it’s an eternal evolution, never ending creation. Gisèle never really intended to make commercial projects, what she presents today is still bound to underground culture - to the spirit of freedom associated to the punks, the hippies, vagabonds, gypsies and the psytrance-community and certainly other subculture movements that are not mentioned here.
