About
Alien Syndrome Deluxe is an ongoing musical project that began in 1986, or thereabouts, and has gone through a number of radical transformations (excluding lobotomies) that have lead to it's present sonic reconstruction, which now includes the melodic, harmonic, rhythmic use of software synthesis as well as hardware to make it's music. The goal here is, has been, always will be, to retain a chronic connection with early inspirational influences, and to boldly go wherethe freshness of the fresh can be found, usually deep inside the personal muse of the free radical beingness (my, doesn't that sound deep) floating around within the unlobotomized central apple core of the memory banks where all the little neurons are happily dancing, sans prozak, melodically suspended in a voltage controlled DNA rhythmical mindstorm.
Influences are: Tangerine Dream, Stockhausen, Kraftwerk, King Crimson, Pnik Ployd, Popol Vuh, Jean Michelle Jarre, Mike Oldfield, Kevin Ayres, Peter Hammil (Van Der Graff Generator), Isao Tomita, Ray Lynch, Kitaro, The Nice, Brian Davison, Yello, Peter Gabriel, Miles Davis, John Cage, Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, Gong, and numerous others.
Sometimes serious, but often laced with a tadpole of humour, or , in some creations, a lot of it, Alien Syndrome Deluxe moves on to exceed itself, as in yet another musical excess. Pleasure, as well as sensory overload, is derived, not only from the making of musical appetizers of it's own, but from the listening of what others are also doing. So, when not out performing itself, the Alien within is out there, tripping through all the known cafes in the galaxy, looking for good music to listen to.

Nice buzzy sounds..interesting flavour...well done!
This piano version is nice too.
Hmmmm...liking this sound...mandolin???? Definitely accordion and rhythm guitar...anyway, very nicely done.
Shades of Vangelis, with neat vocals. evocative lyrics...excellent!
Nice flow to this piece. Superb beginning to end!
Very good, solid groove...liking this a lot!
Substantially soulful with a rock solid groove foundation. Liking this immensely!
Nice 'n groovy...this one.
Okay...this must be the wicked guitar. Yep, wicked describes it very well.
So, what's wrong with the freaking soup kitchen anyway? Ah, I know...the filet mignon is made of rubber. A good version here.
If this i8s just the test track, you should do the finished one. Shades of 'Heartbreaker'...yes, but could be something new. Just a bit more level (up) on the vocal...as is...still likeable.
Shades of Neil Young. Nice slow dancin' song.
@Alien Syndrome Deluxe: er, nah, can't be Macdonald's and can't be Wendys...oh, I know...A 'n W...now what can be more satisfying than that? Hmmmmm, maybe baby knows better. Anyway....the track rocks!
Hmmmmmmm...hmmmmmmmmmm...now what can this be? No, not the gravy, but surely something meaty, beefy, nah...can
So far, very good...love the piano.
Could say a lot about this one...but I'll keep it simple...excellent is the word! Adding to faves.
Great production. Very dramatic. Not sure I want to see a return of the Annunaki though. Given what I've heard, the visitations might not be nice at all. Anyway...impressive work!
Hmmmm, the last song in your playlisat, and, as with above tracks, not disappointed.
Nope, not disappointed with this one!
Scary intro..but what to expewct...ghosts huh?
Oh damn...another 'off to a good start' piece.
Great...'n comin' down your page...not a bad track yet! Nice 'n bluesy guitar...gotta love that...and again, the vocals, xtremely well done...the words, they cut deep to the marrow. About time we get to hear lyrics that have something to say. Hmmmm, maybe this really is a 'good sign'. Adding to faves!
Think I may have commented on this elsewhere, but no matter. Worth commenting again...delicious production...impressive!!!
Love the vocal changeovers. The rapping and melodic vocals make for neat musical contrasts...hope this is getting more listens.
Damnm but this is good! Really good!
Great intro.
Yes, very nice production!
Liking this!
Very nice...would make for a neat song if you had lyrics and vocal track. Yes, quite nice!
Imaginative soundscape...acid rain on somew far off planet perhaps
I don't think I'd like maggot roots. I am partial to macaroni, but this brutal onslaught might be a bit much to take. Hoo boy, you got pasta and maggot all over the polace...whose gonna clean up the queasy mess...excellent track.
@Spurgeasaurus Rex: Thanx!
Very nice! Would make a great soundtrack for the right film...but also, a good listen for any who enjoy dramatic overtures...short and sweet, yes, but a superbly done ending! Keep it up!
Excellent track...hope you'll be uploadig more!
Like this track!
Great vocals...punchy track...superb!
Ah...very nice!
Love Brian Auger...Trinity and Oblivion Express...all works, including those with Julie Driscoll...a great listen here.
A good track...superb!
I like the feel of this track...chugs along quite nicely! Excellent!
