About

Furry faced enthusiast alexpanda has been a music fan ever since he was a young cub listening to his parents taped-off-the-radio mixtapes on long car journeys.

Aged 10 he got his paws on a twin cassette deck from Boots, and was soon creating pop compilations of his own and doing amateurish robotics in front of the mirror to Dire Straights "Money for Nothin". Later, inspired by mixtapes acquired through his older sister by the likes of Sasha and some guy called Dale, he came to understand what true djing was and vowed that people would one day listen to his tapes with similar appreciation.

Then, a spotty man came and gave him special powers and some decks to cut it up with. That bear became alexpanda.

Though shy and retiring at heart, the panda does tend to make the party "go off". Feeling that too much of the same thing can get boring, he blends disco, funk breaks and house with long bouts of chewing bamboo.
