rust
"Rust" is a musique concrète exploration of resonant and percussive qualities of metal. Based on recordings and inspiration from participation in the Orford Sound Creation workshop, QC, 2009. No sculptures or other metal surfaces were harmed during the making of this piece.
It was featured in Vox Novus's 60x60, 2010, in the Vermillion and Canada mixes, and was presented in Montreal, NYC (ICMC 2010), Berlin, and Italy.
