Welcome to my this month's mix.

Maybe its the winter, or something else, but the mix ended up being a little more rough, intensive and live-y than before. The music is also a little more varied with some techno and some lighter stuff complementing the usual deep house-base. Don't worry, I will (most likely) return to my usual way in April, when I'm releasing my next mix. The next mix will be a little special, as it will be aired first by Finnish Broadcasting Company's YleX-channel as part of their Xmix-series, on April 6th. I will make it available here a week later or so.

This month I was happy to include some of my old heroes, classic keyboardists Eric Kupper with moody Emeralds and Satoshi Tomiie as remixer of Guti's Keep It. Another "classic" housemaster Kevin Yost is also featured (look closely!). Micha Klang & Kuroneko's track was out already about a year ago, but the Shonky -remix gives it a new lease of life. It's one of my favourite tracks of the moment, for the 90's feel of it. The mix ends with not-so-mysterious JiiHoo's remix of the Billy McKenzie's (The Associates) version of the Randy Newman's haunting classic. This has been by far my favourite track of the year so far. It's coming out mid-March on Kojak Giant Sounds!
