My name is Alex Loveridge, or ALove, and I'm 20 years old, studying audio production at IADT in Tampa, Florida. I've been producing since 2007, and even before that music was always a huge part of my life. For as long as I can remember my father would play guitar for hours, and that inspired me to learn to play the bass. After that, learning instruments was something that came very easily. In 2007 a good friend, Josh Parenti, and I started learning a production program called Orion Platinum, which is kind of like FL Studio. After messing around with that for about a year, we switched to Reason 4.0 and bought a midi piano, and since then it's been one of the best things about my life. It's stress relief, emotional expression, and the most productive fun I could have all at once. My primary production program now is Reason 5.0, but to follow my school's curriculum I'll soon be learning Pro Tools.
Almost all of my songs here are available for free download, so if you hear any tracks that you like, you're more than welcome to download them. I'm always interested in feedback too, so if there's a certain part of a song that you really like, let me know! If there's something that you think could have been done differently to improve the sound, I'd like to hear that as well! Thanks for listening, and I hope you like the tunes.
