About
I first started music on the Cybergrind / Pornogrind scene back in 2008 under the alias of "Defleshing The Spaceman". I created a MySpace page for myself and received over 1000 views in just the first week, which is huge, especially since the music I was uploading wasn't exactly flattering; electronic blast beats, deep pitch-shifted gurgles and offensive song titles... it was a recipe for disaster, but people still wanted more.
I did this until 2009, which was when I got a real taste for music production and wanted to produce something more tasteful. In mid-2009, "Untitled" was created (later renamed to "Rainbow Juice" in 2011). It was my first attempt at a proper uniformed piece of music. It went down well with people, but was still poorly mixed, equalized and produced... there was still a lot of room for improvement.
In 2010 "Holo-Duke" (which was remastered in 2011) and "Come Get Some" were made, which quickly became hits within the college classroom. I was chuffed when we had to make a music video for a project, and the class chose to do one for my track, instead of a professionally produced rock song which was provided to us.
2011 has been my busiest and biggest year yet; diving head first into a variety of genres ranging from acid techno to drum & bass trying to find my feet, and knocking out around 11 tracks in the process. I bought my first set of studio monitors in september, which was a huge investment for me, and it didn't take long for the cleaner sounding tracks such as Solar Surfer and Super Cereal to be cranked out

love that acid bass D:!!
@Wod-c: good man! followed ;D
so good! :) I really wish that this genre would blow up here in the UK :(
solid remix! can't wait to hear more
I love that arp... sounds like it has a subtle phaser on it too
@catalystelectronicmusic: haha thanks! I went for KRK RP8 G2s, they're fantastic :) I have them set up wrong right now because space and money is an issue (they're temporarily wall mounted). I'm investing in some stands next month... then hopefully I won't have any excuses for rubbish mixes and masters :)
I might have to download this!! I might not used it straight away, but when I do I'll let you know :P
@Kanista½: wow, you're right! :O It's almost identical in terms of what we were both trying to achieve lol... big riser, then wobs! I'm glad you like it though :)
@catalystelectronicmusic: thanks, it means a lot :D it's nice to hear from you too!
this is bloody sexy! :O
I could really picture this in one of those underground industrial raves! your master seems to be spot on too
I can't stand the original but I loved this one! :)
such a good melody! what you did with the lead sounds pretty original too :)
@SuncraftTrance: thanks, I'm glad you like it :D I kinda bit off more than I could chew, it was so hard to master D:
been waiting for you to upload a new track :P I love this, kinda sounds oriental in a way :D
this is beautiful, reminds me a lot of The Flashbulb! (his more mellow works obviously)
that bass is so CLEAN! :O I love it
I love that strange pulsating LFO kinda thing, it makes it really groovy:D
I love what you did with this :D
this is mental :) good job
so much power!
good work!!
such a whomper :)
I love those shuffley hats!
so juicy
on paper it would seem strange to have something side-chained here, but my speakers prove that paper wrong :'}
so beautiful!
this part seriously made me lol :'}
this is so grimey :D
It's different but it has a certain charm to it!
shoulda repeated the drop from 1:29 here D: but whatever, still sexy :'}
@Twizt'd: it should've built back up, back to the second DnB drop here I reckon :[
'dat nutty bass :O
this is so good, how comes I can't find it anywhere? it's a shame
that bass :O!!!
@J Krush: thanks for all of the feedback you left on my tracks mate, really made me smile! I'll be putting my latest stuff up for d/l sooner or later :)
it feels as if it coulda done with a subtle off-beat open hat here with some closed ones for some shuffle and maybe a clap - that's just me though lol, this is very good :]
@InFiniT-E: I'm not a big fan of the newer dubstep :[
this is amazing, I really love that lead that's a little like a hoover!
I think that snare actually works :D in most cases less is definitely more - but if you're looking for a beefier one I suggest that you layer two snares together; one for bass and one for treble :D for the bass snare, I suggest a short punchy one that peaks at around 200hz (EQ out any frequencies below that so it doesn't clash with your main bass)... and for the treble snare I recommend one with a long whooshy tail (EQ all bass from it) - that's what I did for Geeked Up, Solar Surfer and Super Cereal :)
