Half-Mauritian singer-percussionist Mo Kolours returns with his second release: EP2: Banana Wine. Last year’s EP1: Drum Talking saw his blend of soul, dub and various electronic styles with the Sega music of his ancestral home celebrated far and wide.
EP2: Banana Wine is the second in a trilogy of Mo Kolours EPs to be released by One-Handed Music, the increasingly renowned label behind releases from Bullion, Paul White and others. The first EP found favour with the likes of Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard, Gilles Peterson, Rob Da Bank, LA’s influential KCRW radio station, and many more. Mo Kolours performs as part of Paul White’s live band and will be bringing his new one-man live show to the stage this spring.
