LA garage punk rocker Hanni El Khatib releases his third single, a raw and rowdy take on The Cramps’ Human Fly.

The first-generation American son of Palestinian and Filipino immigrants, Hanni El Khatib grew up in San Francisco raised on a cocktail of skateboarding, punk rock, and 1950s and 60s classic Americana.

Influenced by pioneers of early rock and R&B, the multi-instrumentalist and producer derives his unique sound from a variety of inspirations including blues, soul, garage rock & doo-wop and performers as varied as Billy Childish, Johnny Brunette, Sam Cooke and The Animals.

Renowned celebrity photographer Rankin (Dazed & Confused) recently contacted Hanni to request to photograph and feature him in his new magazine The Hunger.

Hanni has supported Florence + the Machine on two tour and recently headlined Transmusicales, one of the biggest festivals in France - a country that his taken him to their hearts and made him a bona fide rock star.

Hanni El Khatib’s distinctive take on Human Fly has also been selected as the track for Nissan’s newest European ad campaign.
