Alex Villanueva was born in 1988 on Tuxtla Gutierrez, the capital city of Chiapas a south state of Mexico.

He started listening Electronic music with the Global Underground's "Melbourne 022" and when he was 16, went to his first electronic party in méxico city, he listened to Hernan Cattaneo, he liked the style of his progressive music and that was when he borrowed a dj decks and began to make his own mixes, all of this was like a hobbie until a friend, who was a dj producer, listened one of his sets and invited him to play at a party, people liked so much his music and his passion to create mixes grew up, then, a few months later he played at many private parties, art galleries and nightclubs in different places of Mexico.

He has a varied taste in the genres of electronic music, he plays from techno to tech house but always with progressive sounds.

On November 2010, he decided to start producing and has been supported by great artists such as Eiad Sayegh a.k.a. BAMBOOK, Damasko, Lank, David Granha, Pete Mccarthey, Jochem Peterson, Nikko.Z, Matteo Monero, Alfonso Padilla, Momo Dobrev, Reivan, Fabian Jakopetz and Dub Way, Groove FM and many more.

The sound of Alex Villanueva has already gained lots of fans and continues rocking the floors all over the world!. He is inspired by djs like Hernan Cattaneo, Quivver, James Zabiela, Satoshi Tomiie, Christian Smith, D-nox & Beckers, Dave Seaman, King Unique, Henry Saiz, Inkfish, Robert Babicz, Darin Epsilon, Monaque, Cid Inc, Gai Barone, 16 Bit Lolitas, Egostereo, Sasha and John Digweed.
