Alex Semchuk

Alex Semchuk (Kiev, Ukraine) is a DJ, sound and record producer. He started his career in 2003, since 2006 writes his own music. The main style is Tech House.
He believes his mission is to carry his feelings and emotions to the listener/clubber and do not follow the crowd but lead the people. He says: «In my tracks I do not stick to some certain style. Usually it’s a mix of styles, ideas and tricks – in other words, it’s a non-stop experiment». Alex affects public through perfect intuition, understanding how to rule the dance floor, skills to interact with people and surprise effect. During sets Alex Semchuk chooses music that brings bright emotions and is interesting in the view of both sound and idea.

Working as a sound producer helped Alex understand better how music builds. For 2 years he collaborated with famous Ukrainian hip-hop group «ТНМК», spent 6 years at radio «Stolitsa», later worked for one of the local TV-channels. After graduating DJ-school «Back to School» he became a teacher of Flymusic DJ-School.
Alex Semchuk played his sets in numerous famous Ukrainian clubs including Greenwich, Morcheeba, Xlib Saxon, Decadence House, Orangerea Supper Club, HOME Concept Night Club, Prime Club (Kiev), Rainbow Electric (Lugansk). He was a resident of «Flymusic Night», Club Dance FM Project «RadioActivnost», more than 5 years worked on the air at 105,5 FM as a DJ.
Played at the same stage with Terry Lee Brown Jr, Jon Silva, The Timewriter and Asher Jones (Rhythm Code) and learned how to compose music from the last one.
