Alex Millan, producer and DJ, is one of these inescapable artists of french electronic scene. From Montpellier, his first step as producer in 2004 was made by an EP “Maria Rosa” which have allowed him to acquire quickly and for the first time a certain fame in the techno music universe. Before that there is the Villa Rouge episode, famous club known for drawing big names of the world scene which he joins in 2000. He had the opportunity to play beside Richie Hawtin, Laurent Garnier, Sven Väth, Carl Cox … Then, Alex Millan, from his real name with slave origins “Alexandre Unkovic”, had a course rich in releases with no less than about twenty maxis (singles, remixes, various) on several well-known labels and especially two major facts which are, first in 2008, the release on the famous German label Kompakt with the track “Ironik” (Speicher 62), then in 2010, what represents a real objective for every music producer, his album “The collection : Triple” (DJ Center). Lot of his tracks are on several compilations beside Depeche Mode, Daft Punk, Paul Kalkbrenner, Trentemoller, James Zabiela … After 15 years of experience, Alex knew how to arouse the interest of big names in electronic music and by a constancy way, his tracks are played by the most famous DJ’s. All of this opens him easily the doors to play frequently abroad. His music wavers between rhythm, melody, and melancholy, what makes a terrific result. A style marked by his several experiences and inspirations, he seduces a wide public in search of electronic stars.

Alex Millan, producteur et DJ, figure parmi les artistes incontournables de la scène électronique française. Montpelliérain d’origine, son premier pas dans la production en 2004 se fit par la réalisation d’un Ep « Maria Rosa » qui lui aura permis d’acquérir rapidement et pour la première fois une certaine notoriété dans cet univers de la musique techno. Avant ça, il y a l’épisode de la Villa Rouge, célèbre club connu pour attirer les plus grands noms de la scène mondiale qu’il intègre en 2000. Il aura l’occasion de mixer aux côtés de Richie Hawtin, Laurent Garnier, Sven Väth, Carl Cox… . Depuis, Alex Millan, de son vrai nom d’origine Slave « Alexandre Unkovic », a eu un parcours riche en sorties avec pas moins d’une vingtaine de maxis (singles, remixes, various) sur plusieurs labels notoires et surtout deux faits majeurs qui sont, en 2008, la sortie sur le très célèbre label allemand Kompakt avec le titre « Ironik » (Speicher 62), puis en 2010, ce qui représente un réel objectif pour tout producteur musical, son album « The collection : Triple » (DJ Center). Bons nombres de ses titres se retrouvent sur des compilations aux côtés de Depeche Mode, Daft Punk, Paul Kalkbrenner, Trentemoller, James Zabiela… . Avec près de 15 ans de métier, Alex a su susciter l’intérêt des grands noms du milieu et d’une façon assidue, ses morecaux sont playlistés par les plus prestigieux DJ’s. Tout ceci lui ouvre aisément les portes à l’étranger où il se produit fréquemment. Sa musique oscille entre rythme, mélodie, mélancolie, ce qui donne un rendu terriblement efficace. Un style marqué par ses diverses expériences et inspirations, il séduit un large public en quête d’étoiles électroniques.
